Ikos Olivia opened its doors in the spring of 2015, bringing a contemporary style to the beautiful beach of the Gulf of Toroneos. The resort is located in the characteristic coastal town of Gerakini amidst a beautiful garden with old olive trees. There will be no shortcomings on the culinary level here. You can choose from 7 restaurants of which a number of menus are developed by Michelin-star chefs. With the ‘Infinite Lifestyle’ all-inclusive concept, it provides a new holiday experience in Chalkidiki where the emphasis is on elegance and quality. For both, couples and families with children, Ikos Olivia is a very suitable resort. The airport of Thessaloniki is approximately 45 minutes drive.
In the garden there are 3 swimming pools, each with a children’s pool and surrounded by a sun terrace with sunbeds and parasols. On the sandy beach there are sunbeds and parasols available for hotel guests and there is a beach service. Various water sports are offered. There are also 2 tennis courts and a fitness room with modern equipment. There are also activities available for young people. Besides the Mini Club for children from 4 up to 11 years old, there is also the Hero Crèche for the little ones (4 months to 3 years old) and also a Teen Club (July and August) for teenagers from 12 up to 17 years old. The Ikos Spa has a heated indoor- and outdoor pool, jacuzzi, steam bath, sauna and hamam. The Spa also has treatment rooms for massages and beauty treatments.
Facilities are based on all-inclusive. The buffet restaurant Flavors is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Furthermore there are the following à la carte restaurants: Fresco: à la carte restaurant at the beach, serves Italian specialties for dinner. Anaya: gourmet restaurant from top chef Katsuhiko Hanamure with special Asian dishes for dinner. Ouzo: traditional Greek restaurant with beautiful terrace on the beach, open all day. Provence: charming restaurant, Provencal cuisine opened for breakfast, lunch and dinner. With the Ikos ‘Dine Out Service’ you can also dine in selected local restaurant outside the resort. The Aqua Pool Bar is open all day for snacks and drinks. For a Greek coffee or refreshing cocktail you can go to several bars such as the Almyra at the beach and Indigo at the lobby. 24-hour room service.
The 291 rooms and suites have contemporary furnishings and are located in the main building or in the bungalows that are spread out in the garden. All accommodations are equipped with air conditioning, flat-screen TV, minibar, Nespresso machine, tea making facilities and safety box.
Guests staying in the Deluxe Bungalow Suites can make use of the Deluxe Collection swimming pool and a Deluxe Collection area on the beach.
