The exclusive Pangkor Laut Resort is romantically situated on a private island off the west coast of Malaysia. On the island of just a few square kilometres with idyllic beaches and tropical jungle you find comfortable villas and suites characterized by Malayan architecture, natural materials and traditional decorations. Enjoy a tropical cocktail on the terrace of your suite, built on stilts in the crystal clear waters of the sea that surrounds the island. Pangkor Laut is located north of Kuala Lumpur, about 3 km off the coast. From Kuala Lumpur you can travel in 4 hours to the port of Lumut, from where a luxury hotel boat will take you in 45 minutes to Pangkor Laut. Helicopter transport from Kuala Lumpur directly to Pangkor Laut is also possible.
Nice lobby with reception, boutique and library. Two swimming pools including the ‘Frogpool’ for children with sun terraces, 3 tennis courts, squash and various water sports facilities. On the island, various hiking trail possible through the rainforest that you can undertake. The luxurious Spa Village is situated in a beautifully landscaped garden with ponds at the sea. The ‘state-of-the-art’ Spacenter offers a wide range of massages and beauty treatments, a swimming pool, the ‘Jamu Spa Bar’, relaxation pavilions and jacuzzi. There is also a fitness centre with modern equipment.
Facilities are based on accommodation and breakfast. Feast Village: international and Asian cuisine for breakfast and dinner. Fisherman’s Cove: ‘fine dining”, fish specialities and international cuisine. Uncle Lim’s Kitchen: Chinese specialities for dinner. Chapman’s Bar: at the beach, snacks and light meals. The only 142 rooms and villas are situated on a hill, in the exotic garden or on stilts in the sea. The architecture is Malay and natural materials and traditional decorations have been used in the design. All rooms and villas are equipped with air conditioning, TV, hi-fi set, luxury en-suite bathroom with separate shower and bath or outdoor pool. Terrace or balcony.
Hill Villa (approx. 71-95 m², max. 2 adults + 1 child): situated against the hill with beautiful views over the Royal Bay. Accessible by elevator, but nevertheless less suitable if you have difficulty walking.
Garden Villa (approx. 71-95 m², max. 2 adults + 1 child): in the garden and partly around the pool.
Beach Villa (approx. 95 m², max. 2 adults + 1 child): in the garden on a few tens of meters from the sea.
Sea Villa (approx. 55 m², max. 2 adults): detached on stilts built into the sea. With terrace of approx. 25 m². The Sea Villas do not have TV.
Spa Villa (approx. 55 m², max. 2 guests. from 16 yrs.): located in the ‘Spa Village’ and on stilts in the sea. The Soa Villas do not have TV.
Sea Suite (approx. 107 m², max. 2 adults): built on stilts in the sea and luxuriously furnished. Separate living- and bedroom. With terrace of approx. 50 m².
Pavarotti Suite (approx. 100 m², max. 2 guests.): situated on the hill, several times inhabited by the world famous tenor. With living room, bedroom, bathroom and a terrace.
