CARIBBEAN & CENTRAL AMERICA

Day 1-2: Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States On arrival private transfer to your hotel for a 1 night stay. Nice tourist attractions in Fort Lauderdale are the Old Fort Lauderdale Museum of History (museum dedicated exclusively to the history of the city), the Museum of Discovery and Science and the charming Las Olas Boulevard. Private transfer to the port where you board the Silver Spirit.

Day 3-4: Cruise days at sea.

Day 5: Tortola, British Virgin Islands; 12:00-22:00 hours. Tortola is the largest of the Virgin Islands. The capital Road Town was founded in 1648 by the West India Company. The bustling capital of the BVI overlooks the Road Harbor. Take time to stroll through the Main Street and along the waterfront and see the traditional West-Indian buildings painted in pastel colours.

Day 6: Gustavia. St. Barts; 08:00-23:00 hours. From an 18th century free port for buccaneers, St. Barth became an extremely luxurious resort island. The St. Tropez of the Caribbean’ has not only French but also Swedish traces in its past history. But the water is by no means Scandinavian, but azure blue, with a beautiful ora and fauna.

Day 7: Roseau, Dominica, 12:00-19:00 hours. Although it is one of the smallest capital cities in the Caribbean, Roseau has the highest concentration of inhabitants of any city in the eastern Caribbean. The colourful French-colonial houses of Roseau make a cheerful impression. There are plenty of shops selling souvenirs, especially those made of wood and gourds are popular.

Day 8: St. John’s, Antigua 08:00-16:00 hours. St. John’s is the capital of Antigua. You will nd traces of the Indian inhabitants and of the English and French who fought for the property, but nowhere do you forget that you are in the Caribbean. There are shopping malls and boutiques with a wide range of haute couture and high quality jewellery.

Day 9: St. Thomas, British Virgin Islands; 08:00- 21:00 hours. You will arrive in one of the world’s most beautiful ports. One of the rst attractions is the city of Charlotte Amalie. From the harbour you can see an idyllic looking village that spreads to the lower hills.

Day 10: San Juan, Puerto Rico; 08:00-19:00 hours. In San Juan you are back on, overseas, American territory. With rum, steel drum bands and spectacular sunsets, you’ll be able to hold on to the Caribbean atmosphere for a while.

Day 11-12: Cruise days at sea. Enjoy the luxury and comfort on board of the Silver Spirit.

Day 13: Fort Lauderdale, arrival 08:00 hours. The sparkling look of Fort Lauderdale is the result of upgrades in the city centre and on the beach. The innovative art district, cafés and boutiques in the city centre are worth a visit. Your cruise with the Silver Spirit has come to an end.
