ICONIC HAVANA

Day 1: Miami, Florida Private transfer to your hotel for 1 overnight. Although Miami is not on the Caribbean Sea, it does have the diverse tropical appeal of the Caribbean. It is a true cultural melting pot with strong influences from migrants from the Caribbean and Latin America who have settled here. Everywhere you hear Spanish, salsa and merengue music. From the warmth radiating art deco buildings in South Beach to the natural wonders of UNESCO-protected Everglades and the laid-back charms of the Keys, southern Florida offers an abundance of attractions.

Day 2: Miami, Florida, departure at 17:00 hours. Private transfer to the port and embarkation.

Day 3: Key West, Florida; 08:00-23:00 hours. The natural beauty of the Florida Keys has attracted writers, artists and musicians for generations. Key West’s ‘Conch style’ reflects a unique blend of Victorian, New England cottage and Bahamian influences.

Day 4: Havana, Cuba; 08:00-00:00 hours. The colonial era is still clearly visible here: many buildings and squares in the old centre date back to the time of Spanish domination. Havana is a reflection of Cuba, as we know it from films full of vintage cars, aromatic coffee houses, cabaret shows, casual squares and a dynamic nightlife.

Day 5: Cruise day at sea.

Day 6: Cozumel, Mexico; 07:00-17:00 hours. Cozumel is the largest inhabited island in Mexico, close to the mainland. The coasts are known for their surf on the east side and calmer water on the west side for diving. Jacques Cousteau discovered Suite with balcony the beauty of Palancar, the coral reefs in the south of Cozumel and found this one of the best diving spots in the world.

Day 7: Roatán, Honduras; 10:00-19:00 hours. Warm Caribbean waters with excellent dive sites, white sandy beaches and tropical sunsets are some of the attractions of the Bay Islands. The underwater world is rich and with reefs around the islands, often within swimming distance of the coast. Caves and caverns are common, with a variety of sponges and the most beautiful pillars forming coral.

Day 8: Santo Tomás De Castilla, Guatemala; 08:00-18:00 hours. It is your gateway to the unspoilt Guatemala, where nature still has free rein and ancient Mayan ruins appear. It is a wonderful place to taste the authentic atmosphere of the local Guatemalan culture.

Day 9: Harvest Caye, Belize; 08:00-17:00 hours. This unspoilt, mangrove-covered private island is a jewel of Belize’s natural resources. Meet wildlife and learn about fauna as you explore the estuaries with mangroves or snorkel along the reef that surrounds the island. Enjoy the warm Caribbean sun on the unspoilt sandy beach of Harvest Caye; enjoy a day of water sports in the lagoon or stroll past the island village and marina.

Day 10: Costa Maya, Mexico; 08:00-17:00 hours. Between the tropical forest, white sandy beaches, coral reefs, abundant flora and fauna and beautiful archaeological sites, lies the Costa Maya. It is the nearest gateway to many of the lesser known Mayan ruins in Yucatan, including Chacchoben and Kohunlich.
