A TASTE OF CUBA

Day 1-2: Havana Cuba Upon arrival private transfer to your luxury hotel in Havana, Cuba where you will stay 2 nights, so you have enough time to enjoy the Cuban capital. The colonial era is still clearly visible here: many buildings and squares in the old centre date back to the time of Spanish domination.

Day 3: Cienfuegos, Cuba; departure late afternoon. In the morning private transfer from Havana to the port of Cienfuegos. La Perla del Sur, or ‘Pearl of the South’, this southern city was rst populated by indigenous peoples and later inhabited by French immigrants in the nineteenth century. Sugar was an important export product of the city. The city’s urban historical centre is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Day 4: Trinidad, Cuba. Trinidad is a city in the province of Sancti Spiritus, centrally located in Cuba. Declared a World Heritage Site in 1988, Trinidad is Cuba’s oldest and most fascinating ‘open-air museum’. Charming cobbled streets, wild donkeys and pleasant musicians perfectly re ect what Trinidad is known for. Close by you will nd one of the best beaches in Cuba. Playa Ancon is a separate retreat with lush footpaths and picturesque waterfalls, a place not to be missed.

Day 5: Cayo Largo, Cuba. An intimate holiday resort in Cuba. It is the largest of 300 islands in the Canarreos archipelago. With a permanent population of zero, the island beaches of Playo Sirena and Playo Paraiso are kept in unspoiled beauty and o er the best undeveloped beaches in the world, ready to enjoy.

Day 6: Isla de Juventud, Cuba. Known as “the island of youth” and “the island of treasure”, it is the second largest island o the coast of Cuba. Very popular with divers, this island is known for its beauty and history. It is home to Punta Frances Marine National Park, great for diving in the beautiful coral; it is idyllic and unspoiled. You can also enjoy beautiful black sandy beaches with crystal clear water.

Day 7: Maria La Gorda, Cuba. Maria la Gorda is the dream of a diver. It has lush natural landscapes, many birds and animals, and life in the sea is simply spectacular. The glistening, aqua coloured water welcomes experienced and starting divers and snorkelers. Authentic Cuban Mojitos and fresh seafood are served by locals, directly on the beach.

Day 8: Cruise day at sea.
