Day 1: Rome, Italy You will be picked up and taken to your hotel where you will stay 1 night based on accommodation and breakfast.

Day 2: Civitavecchia, Italy; departure 17:00 o’clock. You will be picked up at your hotel and brought to the port of Rome by private transfer. Embarkation on board the Seabourn Encore.

Day 3: Bonifacio, Corsica, 08:00-17:00 hours. The entrance to the port of Bonifacio is impressive. In front of you, perpendicular limestone rocks rise up with a ribbon of buildings above. In the town there you find a completely different picture: that of a maze of streets and covered passages. The oldest building is the 12th-century SainteMarie-Majeure. Southeast of Bonifacio are hundreds of granite blocks, some forms a complete island; these Îles Lavezzi are protected as a nature reserve.

Day 4: Livorno (Florence), Italy; 07:00-19:00 hours. Florence is the most pronounced Renaissance city in Italy. Nowhere else in Italy are there so many buildings and works of art from this period. Some of the highlights, such as the Uffizi with the works of Botticelli, the Galleria dell’Accademia with the David, the Palazzo Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti with the Boboli gardens and the Ponte Vecchio are among the highlights of the city.

Day 5: Santa Margherita Ligure (Portofino), Italy; 08:00-17:00 hours. The now fashionable fishing village of Portofino is surrounded by a nature reserve. The name comes from Portus Delphini: and dolphins do indeed regularly appear in the bay. But the biggest attraction is the coloured houses on the quay. They were models for theme parks in the US and Japan where countries are characterized. This explains the great international interest in this small and somewhat isolated place.

Day 6: Bandol, France, 08:00-17:00 hours. Overlooking the beautiful Gulf, situated between the hills, Bandol is one of the largest and oldest seaside resorts on the coast. There are numerous of sandy beaches along the bay of Bandol. Bandol is the perfect place for all watersport lovers. Don’t forget to discover the hinterland by walking, horseback or mountain bike. You can cycle along the vineyards of Bandol and experience some wine tastings.

Day 7: Palamos, Spain; 08:00-18:00 hours. The Catalan city of Palamós was founded as a harbour, in the 13th century by the King of Aragon. It still has an active fishing fleet; the ‘gamba de Palamós’ belongs to the seafood delicacies.

Day 8: Palma de Majorca, Spain; 08:00-18:00 hours. Majorca is an island, belonging to the Balearic Islands, with steep erratic cliffs and olive groves of more than a thousand years old. It is an island of contrasts. The south is touristy with hotels, bars, restaurants, shops and a vibrant nightlife. In the north lie rocky valleys, sleepy villages shrouded in bougainvillea and breath-taking views. The city of Palma de Mallorca is dominated by the breath-taking Gothic cathedral, high above the waterfront.

Day 9: Barcelona, Spain. Barcelona was and is the city of artists, football players, street artists and epicureans. Dozens of museums, architectural highlights and
